The event will be broadcast live on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/user\/WFPCEAHBrazil\">YouTube channel of the Center of Excellence against Hunger @WFPBrasil<\/a>, from 9h to 12h (Brasilia time). The event will be attended by Rita Lobo, chef and high-level supporter of the WFP in Brazil, who will give a presentation and moderate the debates in the last panel.<\/p>\n<p>On December 5, there will be another launch at the USP School of Public Health in S\u00e3o Paulo (in person and open to the public).<\/p>\n<p>Produced by 43 authors from various countries, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thelancet.com\/series-do\/ultra-processed-food\">The Lancet Series<\/a> provides robust evidence on how ultra-processed foods have restructured the world&#8217;s diet, contributing to an increase in obesity, type 2 diabetes, depression, cardiovascular disease, and other health conditions.<\/p>\n<p>The articles also propose a global public policy agenda based on advertising regulation, labeling, taxation, and expanding access to healthy foods.<\/p>\n<p>The event in Brasilia is organized by Nupens\/USP (Center for Epidemiological Research in Nutrition and Health at the University of S\u00e3o Paulo), Fiocruz Bras\u00edlia, PAHO\/WHO, the WFP Center of Excellence against Hunger in Brazil, and the Brazilian Ministry of Health.
