On 4 February, from 11.30am to 1pm (Brasília time), the Third School Meal Programs Around the World Report, will be launched. This document gathers data on national and large-scale school feeding programmes in the world.
Co-organised by the Global Child Nutrition Foundation (GCNF) and the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), the report provides information on school feeding coverage, financing, laws and policies and shows the monitoring of global progress over time.
Among the speakers at the event will be Carmen Burbano, director of the WFP’s School Feeding Division; Arlene Mitchell, from the Global Child Nutrition Foundation; Fábio Veras Soares, a researcher from the Institute for Applied Economic Research (IPCid/IPEA), representing Brazil, among others.
The launch event will take place in the United States but can be followed online in Portuguese via the event’s website.
