Partnerships

At the WFP Centre of Excellence against Hunger in Brazil, we believe that partnerships are the foundation for transforming lives.

We work through South-South and triangular cooperation, connecting governments, the private sector, foundations, associations, cooperatives, civil society, and academia. Together, we develop innovative, effective, and sustainable solutions to address hunger, reduce food waste, strengthen community resilience, improve the livelihoods of the most vulnerable, and reinforce food systems.

Through technical cooperation, innovation, and knowledge exchange, we promote:

  • Resilient food systems, with a focus on local production and consumption.
  • Support for family farming and inclusive public procurement models.
  • Quality school feeding and nutrition, inspired by the Brazilian experience.
  • Social technologies that integrate food production, conservation, and consumption (cisterns, school gardens, ecological stoves, seed banks; only to name a few).
  • Advocacy and multisectoral coordination around the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) and SDG 17 (Partnerships).

Each partnership is tailor-made, connecting global solutions with local realities to ensure equitable access to nutritious food, generate economic opportunities, and strengthen communities.

Let’s build solutions together.
