On June 23rd, the National Assembly of Togo approved, unanimously, the National School Feeding Bill. It is the latest development on the country’s efforts in securing a robust School Feeding framework. This bill is the result of a long process of advocacy, hard work in looking into other countries’ experiences and intense cooperation among partners. Since last year, the government has been already guiding the School Feeding programme’s implementation by the law text, which establishes coordination principles, compliance mechanisms and other advanced aspects of the programme management.
