Publication: 2025 Annual Report
In 2025, the WFP Centre of Excellence against Hunger in Brazil consolidated its role as a global leader in school feeding, food security and South-South cooperation. The year was marked by the 2nd Global Summit of the School Meals Coalition, held in Fortaleza, which brought together officials from around 80 countries. Strategic partnerships were established to launch innovative initiatives, such as InovaSAN and AlimentaLAB. The annual report also highlights progress in technical cooperation with countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America, including missions, study visits and training in nutrition and family farming. The publication also presents concrete results, such as the implementation of social technologies to strengthen school feeding in Benin, São Tomé and Príncipe, and the Republic of Congo; and the recognition of school cooks through the reality show “Escola de Sabores”, reinforcing school feeding as a public policy that respects the dietary habits and cultures of traditional peoples.
