On September 17, the Centre of Excellence against Hunger Programme Policy Experts, Bruno Magalhães and Yasmin Wakimoto, will host a Webinar entitled “Promoting CCS initiatives to implement smallholder farming and home-grown school feeding programmes”. The Webinar will air at 3pm Rome time (10am Brasilia).
The Webinar is part of a series of lectures entitled “Voices of the Field,” organized by the Country Capacity Strengthening staff of the WFP Programme and Policy Division in Rome. The Centre’s experts will present the challenges of promoting, alongside WFP country offices, the capacities and needs of the Gambia and Lesotho national governments to design and implement large-scale rural development and school feeding programs in the countries, bringing forward strategies involving government institutions, institutional organization and financial structures.
