The government of Brazil has made a humanitarian donation of personal protective equipment to Haiti to assist the country’s efforts to combat the COVID-19 pandemic. The donation included protective masks, gloves, aprons and visors.
A ceremony market the symbolic delivery of those items at the Justinien University Hospital in Cape Haitian on March 22nd. The Brazilian Cooperation Agency (ABC), from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MRE), coordinated the initiative, which was conducted with the support of the Brazilian Embassy in Port-au-Prince and the World Food Programme (WFP).
