Delivery of products, Receiving Statement and farmers payment
On this final step for the purchase from smallholder farming for the PNAE, the delivery of products is formalized between suppliers and the Executive Entity (or Executive Unit, in case of direct acquisition from schools). Such delivery must happen according to the schedule established in the public call and in the purchase contract.
It is important to remember that agricultural organizations are not for profit. However, some states allow smallholder farming associations to commercialize for institutional purchases, including the PNAE. In this case, the EEx may sign the contract directly with the association, who is authorized to issue an invoice and has a DAP Legal Entity - and is, therefore, a formal group.

Receiving Statement
- Testifies that delivered products are in accordance with schedule from contract and following required quality standards;
- Types of delivered products, their characteristics and values, are described.
Once they are filled in and signed by both parties, one copy of the Receiving Statement should be kept with the EEx and the other with the formal group representative or individual supplier.
- Rural producer receipt;
- Spare receipt (sold at the city hall); or
- Receipt (formal groups).
Attention!
Foodstuffs to be delivered to the hirer must be the ones defined on the public call. They may be replaced if necessary, provided that substitute products are on the same public call list and are nutritionally similar. The request for substitution of a product for another must be attested by the nutritionist, who can be backed up by the National School Council (CAE). (Smallholder farming acquisition manual. 2nd edition. 2015).
